Most of us have family or friends to care for us at the end and honor us afterwards. Not everyone's so lucky. Many die entirely alone. They are the unclaimed dead and typically they're cremated.

Cremation of the unclaimed is the jumping off point for this movie, but it’s the human factor – the coming together of the lonely living to form an unlikely connection – that drives this story.
